The Indian government, in consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, has determined that it is necessary to enforce mandatory BIS certification requirements for manufacturers, importers, and sellers of "Trimethyl Phosphite" in the Indian market. This decision has been made in the interest of public welfare, under the authority granted by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016). To comply with the regulations outlined in Scheme-II of Schedule-II (Conformity Assessment) Regulations 2018, "Trimethyl Phosphite" must adhere to the Indian Standard and bear the standard mark (ISI).
